GROWING HAIR: FASTER AND HEALTHIER

February 01, 2017

For those of us who have ever had the experience of waiting for our hair to grow, the process can feel like the ultimate exercise in patience. Whether you’ve given in to the dreaded “bang trim” impulse or just want your hair longer for summer braids and ponytails, hair can have a mind of its own when it comes to growing to meet your demands.

So, what’s a woman to do when she needs her hair longer, like…yesterday? Well, it turns out it’s a healthy scalp that leads to strong hair growth, so Cuvée adds potent skincare ingredients to its luxury hair care products to encourage fast, healthy hair growth. When your scalp is in good health, your hair can live up to its full potential—so the Cuvée Complex, at the heart of our luxury shampoo, uses best-of-the-batch Champagne, white truffle, platinum and numerous other botanicals to do just that: nourish and nurture, from the roots on down.

Great news, right?

Turns out that in addition to using the best shampoo, you can also add a few simple steps to your daily routine to help your hair grow faster and healthier. Check out these tips from bustle.com.  https://www.bustle.com/articles/168287-13-nutrients-that-boost-hair-health-where-to-find-them-according-to-experts

  1. Eat your way to healthy hair. That’s right—the more goodness you take in, the faster and healthier your hair will be. Consider this your invitation to up the avocado toast ante! The monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats found in avocado, nuts and coconut oil promote the production of collagen and elastin. Eat ‘em up or make a mask with mashed avocado to apply directly to scalp before shampooing…ditto for coconut oil.
  1. Rev up your vitamin intake. Vitamin E, found in spinach, kale and almonds, promotes blood flow to the scalp. Vitamin D, found in salmon, helps stimulate the growth of hair follicles and can improve thickness of hair. Add a fish oil supplement or eat wild salmon, sardines, tuna or anchovies a few times a week to get in your omega-3’s, and feed your sweet tooth with fruits like oranges, kiwi and berries for a boost of antioxidant-rich vitamin C.
  1. Get to know (and love) biotin. Part of the vitamin B family, biotin helps strengthen hair and (bonus!) nails. Find naturally occurring biotin in lentils, beans, green peas and brown rice. Sprinkle almonds on your salad for an additional boost.
