We all strive to be healthy, and one of the best things we can do for our health is to work out. Swimming is incredible exercise—it not only burns a ton of calories while toning muscles and improving cardiovascular health, but it’s easy on the joints, too. Unfortunately, swimming regularly is not so easy on your hair. High levels of chlorine can strip hair, leaving it dry, damaged and discolored.

If you’re dedicated to a daily dip—we applaud you!—and we have good news about caring for your chlorine-soaked hair. Cuvée shampoo helps with the chlorine in most pools. This gentle-enough-for-everyday formula is infused with our patented Cuvée Complex, a powerful blend of Champagne, white truffle, platinum, botanicals and skincare-grade ingredients that work to nourish hair as it’s cleansed.

Can I use Cuvée shampoo every day?

Yes! Because of the high quality ingredients in Cuvée’s luxury shampoo, it is safe to use daily, even after swimming. The soothing ingredients will not only leave your hair feeling clean, moisturized and healthy, but your scalp will also benefit from the Cuvée Complex. Healthy scalp = longer, stronger hair!

How can I strengthen my hair after swimming?

The best way to strengthen hair after a pool workout is by washing with a top shampoo and conditioner. You’ve already read about the benefits of our shampoo, but pair it with our Cuvée conditioner and you’ve got a haircare power couple! Gently squeeze hair after washing to get rid of excess water. Using a quarter size amount (less on short hair) of conditioner, work it through hair from the mid-shaft to the ends. Allow to sit for 3-5 minutes, or longer if you have time! Rinse in cool or tepid water. Your hair will be soft, shiny and have just the right of volume. And, because our conditioner is also infused with the Cuvée Complex, it will be moisturized and nourished, as well.

Care for your hair with Cuvée’s luxury hair products, and your after-swim hair will be its best yet.
