It’s customary to fill a glass and toast with your favorite champagne, but have you ever tried washing your hair with it? Cuvée founder Rachel Katzman toyed with the idea after being showered with 21 bottles of bubbly on her 21st birthday. Champagne was spilling everywhere (including in her hair). Katzman tells SELF that the boozy residue left her strands feeling soft and filled with texture. So, she decided to work with chemists to whip up a hair-care line with champagne as a key ingredient.

Together, they came up with three in-shower products and three styling essentials. Each item includes a champagne extract, obviously, but they are also filled with antioxidants and plant-based proteins that your hair and scalp can benefit from. There's a classic shampoo and conditioner. And when your strands need extra TLC, there's a nourishing complex. You can treat your hair daily with the deep conditioning formula, and it won't leave strands feeling weighed down.

Cuvée's lineup also includes a styling balm to help you mold hairstyles and a protective treatment to guard strands during heat styling. And the star of the collection: A wave-creating champagne spray. Use it to achieve tousled texture just like a salt spray. The products are available now on the brand's website for $35 to $45. Each one smells like—you guessed it—champagne (with a hint of fig). And the best part: It's all unisex.
