I received my bottle of Cuvée beauty and the first thing I did was smell it. Is that weird? I wanted to see if it actually smelled like Champagne. And you know what, it kinda does! But more of a really floral enriched formula with notes of champagne. The color is that of champagne, in case you wanted to know.
Next, I tested it out on my dry hair prior to straightening it. It is made to protect the hair from heat, and I’d say it did the job. My hair felt protected and looked healthy even after using a straightener.
The biggest thing I noticed was that the formula was sticky. If you toss you hair while placing the mix in, your hands will get a bit sticky. However, I think that’s what helps keep the frizz away. The biggest positive of the Cuvée beauty I noticed was the ability to manage frizz and flyaways.
I personally hate hair spray and how crunchy it can leave hair. Cuvée does the opposite when taming frizz. It leaves the hair smooth and softer while setting everything in place.
