4 Fall Runway Hair Trends to Try Now

Oh summer, how we miss you and your carefree ways already—well, maybe not your humidity or the frizz that comes along with you. What we can look forward to, however, is fall’s crispy temps, which naturally settle flyaways, and the new hairstyles the fashion runways bring. This season is all about uncomplicated, wearable glamour, which can easily be replicated at home with a few key products and styling tools. Here’s how to recreate a few of our favorite looks from the catwalks so you can stylishly strut your way into autumn.

Modern Glam

Old-Hollywood siren meets urban sophisticate, this look delivers on retro vibes but in an approachable, more modern manner. To get the look, on wet hair, spray Cuvée Volumizing Mist at the roots to encourage height at the crown. Blow dry your hair upside down to create extra body throughout. Make a deep side part, and using a 1 ¼-inch curling iron, move the iron up and down the hair for a gentle bend. Go through it with a wide-tooth comb or brush for extra softness.

Sleek and Straight

Glossy, healthy strands make a super-straight style like this one all the more alluring. To keep your hair in the best condition possible, use Cuvée Shampooand Conditioner regularly. Formulated with skincare-grade ingredients and antioxidants, research shows that your hair will be twice as strong, four times smoother, and 50 percent less likely to break with regular use. Mix in a bit of Cuvée Essential Booster with your conditioner for added shine. On wet hair, apply Cuvée Premiere Treatment from root to tip to protect it from heat and increase strength. Create a center part and blow dry, smoothing it with a paddle brush for a sleek finish. Add a bit of Cuvée Styling Balm throughout to tame flyaways and control ends.

Next-Day Knot

The epitome of effortless glam, this updo is as easy to fashion as it is to roll out of bed. The beauty of it is that it works for day or night. On dry hair, even a few days post wash, run a dollop of Cuvée Styling Balm from root to tip to control any frizz and add hold. Brush it into a high ponytail and fasten with an elastic. Pull the ponytail through the elastic, creating a loop with the ends free. Secure loop to your scalp using bobby pins. The more hair you pull free, the more deconstructed the look and vice versa.

Piece-y and Pretty

Equal parts boho and chic, this style wins in all of its textural glory. The look is done but not too done, like an off-duty model. Prep damp hair with Cuvée Champagne Spray to create that covetable piece-y texture. Fashion a clean center part and place a no-bend hair clip one inch down from the center part on both sides. Let hair air dry. Remove clips and use a flat iron to detail the pieces around the face and create subtle texture throughout. Finish with a spritz of Champagne Spray to separate out the ends.
